Poured to an Ora et Labora taster.
A: The body is very liquid in a sense that has a very low density, not expecting this when pouring an *imperial* stout to a glass. Despite that, the body is black, not totally opaque, having a minimal beige head that shows low retention.
S: The aroma is prominent on ground coffee and instant coffee. In the back there's a slight presence of alcohol.
T: Taste starts off a bit aromatic due to the coffee, there's blue berries, there's toffee, there's a minimal earthy tone and then moves directly to the end of the beer where it's far from perfect. The end's bitterness is very similar to one of instant coffee, and it's very industrial, nothing like pure coffee bitterness.
M: Body is weirdly low on density. On the other hand, this beer seems to be overly carbonated. Not too much but for an imperial stout you expect it to be lighter on carbonation. Alcohol is way to prominent. Sweetness is good but bitterness is strange, specifically where it comes from.
O: Not the best Imperial Stout I've had and also not the best to showcase this style.
