Copenhagen 22/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. In Musa's series of rock classic inspired beer they now take on the Talking Heads. Musa's usual psychedelic design in purple and orange.

Pours almost clear, pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as lumpy, uneven layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of bitter, grainy scents. Sweet, pale malts. Bread and hay. Hints of butter. Sharp, bitter edge.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness and a stronger bitterness Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Decently bitter Pilsener. But too generic to be truly psychotic.

I had this beer on-tap in a straight-sided glass at the brewery in Marvila.

Appearance: medium golden hue with just a little dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam with a nice lace left on the glass as I drink.

Smell: yeasty, astringent aroma with kind of a dryness to it. Not super crisp nor super smooth; not bad, but could be nicer.

Taste: nice malt flavor that is a bit sweet up front and finishes on the dry side. Bitterness is low but present; there's a good crispness here that I like in the style.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess for the style.

Overall: the aroma was a little rough around the edges, but overall this is a good Pilsner. I dig it.

Poured to a stemless Musa glass.

A: The body is yellow and crystalline, showing a one finger thick white head with a good retention.
S: The aroma is malty and refreshing with a light citrus note.
T: Taste-wise, this beer is very crisp as there is a light sweet tone incoming from the malts, which then moves on to a light citrusy, lemon-like tone before finishing with a medium bitterness. It's a very rounded beer that is easily one of the best pilsners I've had lately.
M: Body is medium to low. Carbonation is spot on. Bitterness is medium. Alcohol is unnoticeable.
O: This is a very rounded, delicious and drinkable beer. I'm very interested in drinking this again.
