Copenhagen 18/11 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Musa’s usual design in red, yellow, green and blue. Colorful and happy.
Pours unclear- almost hazy - amber with a big fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as 5 cm thick crown of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish odor laced in coconut and lactose. A bit sugary and candy-like. Light notes of fresh, wet grass.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sourish undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite heavily flavored Cream Ale. You have to be rather enthusiastic about coconut to truly enjoy this beer.
