Copenhagen 9/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Brown label in Musa's usual design with the addition of the coffee roasters from The Royal Rawness.
Pours opaque dark brown with a light beige head. Fairly stable. Settles as 3 cm thick crown of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of caramel with a roasted touch and a little coffee bitterness thrown in. Caramel, chocolate and brown sugar. Light coffee odor.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Pretty light for an Imperial Porter. Nice smell and taste but it could use a bit of intensity.
