Copenhagen 15/5 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Label looks like a white wall with green paint with black writing spelling out the name and brewery.
Pours hazy copper with a big white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Sweet odor of fermented, exotic fruit and malt with some lighter citric notes. Fermented mango and papaya. Caramel. Citrus and grape fruit in the background.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a fairly strong bitterness running underneath. Finish is dry.
Fairly light for a DIPA but not without its own fermented charm. But pretty lame wordplay by the way.
