A: The body is coppery with some medium hazy body, not crystallized nor opaque. Beautiful body where light comes in and remains captured. Head is white having a great retention. No lacing.
S: Aroma is gorgeous of an aged Brett, unlike the pungent and strong horse blanket profile when yeast is new and used in major amounts, everything here is balanced very well from the oaky wood to a chewy aroma of mushrooms. Very well balanced.
T: Taste starts off with a sugary touch being mid way between toffee notes, belgian candi and barley sugar. Right after, a minor salty note from the Brett makes you salivate helping the body of the beer become even better, with a chewy profile of (shitake?) mushrooms as seen in Jester King's Snorkel. In the end, oak is noticed but it's not too prominent, due to the fact that this beer has maturation has been made inside the bottles and not the inside the casks itself. In the end, a nice balanced and crisp Brett finish is lovely and delightful.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is medium to high but thankfully not visible. Alcohol is unnoticeable. Sourness is pleasing, not harsh.
O: This is the best portuguese sour beer I've ever had. Looking forward to have more.
