Crowler from Growler Guys -Spokane. Medium, clear amber, skin of head. Malty aroma, hoppy notes, caramel. Taste too walks a fine line between hops and malt, pretty nicely too. Solid NW IPA.

a bit more old school fashioned this one, with the crystal malt and all, an amber tinted pale color with a decent head and good clarity. there is a malt forward almost bready nose, fresh though, and then the fruitiness of the hops which immediately makes this pretty dynamic, more punchy on the hops in terms of bitterness than most that look like this, and with a resinous feel, dry hopped fruit forward aromatic, and a pretty clean finish all things considered, pretty well dialed in, i had not heard of these guys before this beer came along into my glass. some light pine up front, the hops start early, good balance immediately, and not too malty for me once i get used to the concept here. the citra and mosaic later hops are also obvious, samey sure, but this beer is nicely proportioned and pretty professionally executed, even if its sort of copycat in terms of flavors. medium body but pretty drinkable because of the balance, and also nicely carbonated. not real unique, but good enough that i am interested in checking out some more beers from these guys. ill have to get up to post falls this summer. someone explain to me the name of this beer, i dont get it. is that when like, you are a pro stoner and you can smoke out of anything when you dont have a pipe, like an apple or an ipod or whatever? that really resonates with me...

On tap at Riverbank Tap House. A very hop forward and fruity IPA.

Tried this on the recommendation of a bartender at PFBC while choosing an IPA.
Clear, reddish amber color.
Turned out to be much more malty than I prefer in an IPA. Don't think I'd have it again.

2 ounce sample at Spokane Brewers Festival. Beautiful copper color with outstanding clarity. Aroma is fruity hops and sweet malt. Taste is also very hop forward with a nice balance of citrus and pine. Moderate to high bitterness. Very good IPA.
