Look: Straw yellow on the pour, once the gushing can settles, with a silky white head that holds well as a lid

Aroma: Straw, flowers, soda crackers, flower nectar, pilsner malt, and light grassy notes

Taste: Opens with some cut grass that is more pronounced than the nose let on and quickly joined by a huge wave of floral goodness that highlights spirea, sweet box, and Hall’s honeysuckle. Straw, crackers, and pilsner malt lay the backbone and try, but fail, to compete with the floral barrage. Closes with some nectar-like sweetness

Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and felt dryness on the finish

Overall: This is some good stuff. Another winner from these folks and another delicious take on a German Pils. The cut grass and floral notes were heavy in it, which I dig, and the body, malt, and feel spot-on as usual. Definitely worth trying if you see it

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/11/25.

Appearance: pale golden hue with a little dash of haze and a thick cap of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: mildly sweet and somewhat astringent with a rather grainy character. It's nice, but it's got kind of a rougher edge than I like in the style.

Taste: moderately sweet with less grainy astringency than the aroma, but with a kind of pronounced yeast character and a kind of spiciness. Some of it is from the hops, and I think some of it is part of the yeast character. Kind of on the bitter side for the style. Not bad, but maybe not my favorite.

Mouthfeel: medium body with plenty of carbonation and a good creaminess.

Overall: like I said, not my favorite German pilsner, but not a bad beer.

CANNED ON 05/16/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Clear gold with 1-2 finger frothy white head with good retention and solid lacing.

S: Floral and herbal noble hops meet crackery pils maltiness with hops slightly ahead. Clean with no appreciable ester character.

T: Flavor is also hop-forward but supremely balanced with crackery pale pils maltiness and herbal, floral, and slightly spicy noble hop character. Clean and crisp flavor profile. Bitterness is light-moderate — wouldn’t mind to see this turned up a bit but very enjoyable nonetheless.

M: Feel is on-target for style — light bodied but firm with very dry finish. I finished the pint in about 5-10 minutes.

O: Wayfinder Party Time Pils is no joke — on-point for the German pilsner style with noble hoppiness and crisp maltiness and overall feel. Great job Wayfinder.

16 oz can from Tavour. Clear, bright golden pour, small white foamy head. Aroma is French bread crust, faint citrus, mild earthy hops. Taste this crisp right up front, multi, biscuity with a nice light bitterness that lingers throughout. Nice.

Pint at the Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
$7.00
Clear golden body, small off white head.
Aroma of cereal malts and saaz type hops. Very good.
Taste strong pure malts then a buzzing noble/ saaz hop finish.
Really nice mouth feel. Ultra drinkable.
Good pilsner.
