Had on tap. Cloudy orange pour complete with an eggshell white head. Bubblegum, banana, wheat, big orange and lesser so lemon with a finish dash of clove. The pleasant citrus carries into the taste well, otherwise typical hefeweizen flavors as in the nose, maybe a drop of honey instead of enhanced clove. Feel is sunny, juicy before the wheat kicks in, snappy with a certain smoothness that the style dictates with the wheat, but lighter bodied. Perfect for a hot summer day

On tap at the brewpub the other day.
The beer pours light, slightly cloudy golden amber color with good head retention and excellent lacing. The nose is textbook hefeweizen, as I pick up clove, light banana and light honey, with a hint of nutmeg. The flavor profile replicates the nose, but it's really ramped up. I pick up considerable spice and clove, and I love the drying clove spice on the finish. This is very reminiscent of the wheat beers I enjoyed in the service while stationed in Germany. Mouthfeel is fairly full for a hefe, but it's not at all heavy or tiring on the palate. The finish is fairly long and spiced filled.
This is a beer I find myself ordering whenever I'm visiting the brewpub. Quite excellent.
