Look: Semi-opaque dark yellow to light orange with a fast-forming, frothy head that settles to a lid, leaving good lacing on the glass
Aroma: Pilsner malt, floral hops, soda crackers, some cereal grains, and light wafts of citrus
Taste: All flowers and soda crackers up front and the depth of floral notes are expressed much stronger than on the nose (at least when cold). Pilsner malt and faint citrus weave in and out of the fold before closing with crackers and a bouquet of flowers
Mouthfeel: Light but full, medium-high carbonation, very clean and crisp throughout, and finishes clean and soft while still staying quite crisp
Overall: This is tasty stuff. I love a good Kellerbier and wanted to try this as these folks’ lagers are quickly moving into the “should/must try” category over the last year as I’ve gotten to try more. Lots of great cracker malt and pilsner malt flavor and a whole lotta flowers as well. Very clean and refreshing and a great beer for this clear and sunny evening. Recommended

16oz can
Pours about a finger of white head into my Willi glass. Retention is a little below average and the head fades completely within a minute. Initial lacing looks questionable. Body is dark golden yellow, pretty clear, with minimal bubbles coming up. Looks ok so far.
Has a full and pretty robust pale malt nose, not quite bready, maybe a touch of caramel. Smells on the sweeter side for a lager, which means only slightly sweet. Noticeably spicy, which is probably from a generous hop addition. Not sure how I feel about the level of malt - it has some ESB/British qualities, but the hops are very welcome. All in all it smells quite nice, it’s got a big nose for the style.
Flavors follows the nose pretty closely. Those big malts come through almost exactly as they did on the nose, though they are a little rough and grainy at times. Hop flavor is small, and it comes across as more grassy than spicy, which is a bit of a letdown. This is ok, again not sure how well the grain is working, probably not my cup of tea for this interpretation.
Carbonation is on the higher side. Body is full, but not thick. A touch of sweetness, and a little dryness - well balanced. Perceived bitterness is moderate. What really kills things is that rough grainy feel, haven’t run into that in a while but it’s unmistakably annoying.
Drinkability is ok, tastes fine.
Appearance turned out below average. Head was very lackluster, and the lacing hardly stayed alive.
I’m probably being harsh on this beer, because there isn’t anything egregiously wrong with it, but for me, the malt negatively effects the flavor and the feel. Overall this is ok.

Served in 16oz Jelly Jar type glass. Poured a clean, clear dark yellow color with a half-inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.
The aroma had good, earthy grains, soft, floral hops, and a touch of yeast spice.
Very similar on the tongue, just more expanded and defined.
The body was smooth and clean, with a pleasingly dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, I could see draining a few of these.
Overall, a very fine brew. A must-try if you see it.

Can from Uptown Market.
A mildly hazy copper with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. Having had a chance to warm up, the malt here really pops. Soft, doughy, bready, mildly caramel like, mildly toasted, with a soft, earthy and lemony and earthy hop character. A wisp of metallicity is noticeable at first, but this dissipates quickly. The palate opens with excellent balance between a clean, firm bitterness, earthy and with a touch of dusty lemon peel, along with a really deep, rich yet light toasted bread, grainy wheat, a delicate sweetness and a nice rich honey note. Drying, mildly bitter on the finish with lingering earth and bread. Medium in body with a nice, grainy richness. Excellent.

Cloudy lighter amber body, crisp biscuit, a bit of lemon and floral, a nice damp woody note. A bit of pumpernickel also. Mineral-y, medium bodied, nice carbonation. Lots of flavor, medium but not overwhelming floral bitterness on the finish. Great!
