This international collaboration honors our fallen brother Barnaby Struve, and we feel this beer is worthy of his persnickety palate. Each brewery has brewed its own version of this glorious golden lager, so go forth and collect them all!

This libation to evil is best consumed out of a skull shaped goblet while listening to your favorite metal album and discussing the works of Bertrand Russell.

Collaboration with 3 Floyds, Boneyard Beer, Gigantic Brewing Company, The Belmont Fermentorium, Ninkasi Brewing and Stigbergets.

16oz can

Pours a finger of frothy white head into my Pilsner glass. Retention is average, and the head fades within a minute or two. Initial lacing looks great. Body is a very light pale yellow, crystal clear, with a medium amount of bubbles coming up.

Nose is surprisingly savory for how light the body is, reminiscent of toast, light nuttiness. Underneath that there is a nice lager base, grassy hops, dry. Smells real nice.

Flavor is very similar, some nuttiness blended with a more traditional sourdough malt bill. Mild-moderate noble hop profile, sharp. Overall very clean with just a touch of that savory character.

Carbonation is super high. Relatively light bodied, has structure though. Bitterness is low but present. On the drier side, with the smallest touch of sweetness, very crisp. A solid mouthfeel.

Drinkability is great, this is tasty and clean.

Appearance turned out ok. There were small remnants of foam on top of the body all the way down the glass. The head took quite a while to stick, but there were small traces.

Overall a nice, straight forward lager, with a little bit of a malty twist.

Nice looking pour, a finger of frothy head. Clean yeasty aroma. Taste is very German, with well moderated bitterness over just enough malt. Well carbonated and flawless finish. The can doesn't specify the hops or malts used. A good choice for a warm spring day.

Can.

A clear light orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is soft, creamy and mildly bitter. Closer to a light helles bock than a pilsner imo. Rich, doughy bread notes. The palate opens mildly bitter with earth and lemon, a moderate amount of bread and dough. Clean, crisp, bitter on the finish.
