I picked up a can of this at the Milwaukie Beer Store. I absolutely love smoked beers and I jumped all over this after I looked upon it, as I rarely see any smoked beers in the bottle / can.
The beer was a real delight. The smokiness was not overpowering, which is what I was hoping for given the pairing with the helles style. I would definitely pick this up if you like smoked beers and lagers.
Thanks to wayfinder for making something like this in the can.

Clear yellow with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is shockingly light on the smoke. A delicate accent to the base helles, rich with its bready, honey, dough, it's almost an annoying distraction. The palate opens soft, doughy, mildly floral with nice bread and floral and honey notes. The smoke is delicate and unfortunately, rather non-committal. Drying, doughy, clean finish with light smoke. Great helles, middling rauch helles, and my negative overall score is a reflection of that.
