Our Dark & Delicious Porter turned up to 11. Subtle coconut coils through the darkness; bittersweet chocolate drags its claws across the palate, and a flicker of cinnamon heat lingers like a whispered final warning from the Abyss.

Look: Jet black and my gluggy pour brings on a huge, light brown head that pillows up and refuses to settle
Aroma: Coconut – both freshly cut pulp and dried shreds, chocolate, turbinado sugar, cinnamon, light roast, a touch of earthiness, and caramel-like sweetness
Taste: Oh baby. Kicks off with a taste reminiscent of a huge bite of a Mounds bar with rich and sweet chocolate pairing with coconut flesh and these begin developing depth. Cinnamon, some roast, and both raw sugar and caramel start mixing in but keeping the chocolate/coconut clearly in the lead. Closes with some sweetness and light earthy notes
Mouthfeel: Full, smooth, clean, medium-high carbonation, and smooth on the finish
Overall: This is a delicious beer. The can art drew me to this new Wayfinder beer and after spotting the style, I was sold. It’s a really good and well-made Coconut Porter that hits all the right notes and in the right ways throughout. Awesome stuff and recommended

16oz can from John 's Market Beaverton. Dark brown pour yields a very thick foamy beige head, clumpy lacing. Aroma is light coconut, mild roast. Taste introduces some chocolate flavors, blending with the coconut for a nice candy bar vibe
