Bottle from Bert’s
Pours a slightly hazy deep copper light brown color with a decent sized bubbly off white head. Toasty bready light caramel and chocolate maltiness with some faint earth to counter. Malty toasty caramel flavor with bits of burnt acrid roastiness and some earthy hops to balance. Has more of a dry stout roasty bitterness to it than the sweeter chocolate tones I normally associate with a porter. Its a clean well made beer, but needs some recipe tweaks imho to nail the porter style.
