From the 650 ml. bottle that is not dated. Sampled on February 8, 2017.
I like how it looks with its mahogany amber and very heady pour. Good clarity. Head lingers and laces.
The first thing I get on the nose is a soapiness, which was a bit of a letdown. After I meander through that I can find a vague caramel malt sweetness and an orange or tangerine fruitiness.
The body is light to medium.
The orange and tangerine characters stand out more in the taste but it isn't a hoppy sort of character...it is more of a fruit juice character. Modest sweet malts and a mild to moderate bitterness at the finish.

Bottle from Bert's
Slightly hazy deep amber color with a huge frothy off white head that persists. Rich caramel bready maltiness with some lemony citrus and light pine on the nose, Flavor follows the aroma but adds some grassy earthy hop flavors. Light astringency but a pretty decent beer that reminds me a lot of craft beer in the 90's
