330ml bottle poured into a Chiang Mai Brewery glass.
Slight hazy golden orange in color, thick fluffy off-white head builds up to last with great retention before gradually subsiding to a layer of foamy crown with lots of lacing left, high visible carbonation.
Sharp yeasty sour in a nose is significant, together with a scent of orange, citrus, grapefruit, herbal, and a light hint of malt. The aroma seems to get much settle once the beer is a bit warm.
The taste is mixed up with a flavor of herbal, grassy, big dry grain, it is not much as juicy, citrusy, or fruity, ghost-like malt sweetness, and bold hop bitterness. Lack of balance in general, with only grainy and bitter overwhelm while the other flavors like fruity hop and sweet malt are sunken deep.
Medium body with smooth mouthfeel from a wave of soft and lively carbonation, not much as refreshing as it should be, finish is very dry. In general, this beer is not that bad but it falls off the IPA standard for me.
