Not sure if I got a bad batch or something, but there was a fair bit of sludge at the bottom of each can. Looks nice, 1 finger head. Taste is a bit lacking, kind of watery but there's a nice stout underneath. Some raw alcohol taste, which is unexpected at this ABV.

a: jet black color with just the faintest hint of brown. 2 finger dark tan head
s: roasted malts and dark chocolate. brown sugar and caramel follow with some roasty woody notes. some oaty notes and a hint of cola as well
t: smooth roasted malts and some caramel sweetness. faint woody notes and brown sugar. milk chocolate and cocoa powder
m: lighter side of medium, slightly sticky with low carbonation
o: a very smooth beer, but a bit light in flavor. would like a bit more roasted notes out of this
