A: Approaches midnight black, but walnut brown when held up to light. Medium tan head cap; the lacing is sporadic.
S: Rich toffee, caramel, and coffee notes. Crusty rye bread.
M: Med-full body. Smooth character with slight acridity.
T: Earthy and floral flavors coincide with an earthy rich, dark maltiness. Roasted pecans, chocolate blueberry truffles, squash flowers, cocoa dusted apple.
