Nice, a tart sour ale. Tangy and lemony.

16 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long-lasting, foamy white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of barn yard yeast, citrus fruit and wheat malt. Body is medium and tangy. Taste is very sour, lemon, wheat malt, funky yeast and hint of hops. Finish is long and sour. Nice brew.

Really enjoyed this. Complex spicy, earthy, sour notes with a nice malty, slightly sweet backbone. Reminds me of a cider. Best served cooler in my opinion.

Surprised this isn't in the 90s. Aroma is close to a Belgian, but taste us absolutely phenomenal. Complex, but clean, crisp and smooth. Barnyard characteristics happening. Flavor is pleasantly tart- grassy, lemony, a little earthy. Simple but interesting. Carbonation is right where it should be. Not really dry or sweet. Finishes wonderfully. Hard to not keep sipping Guess that's why they call it porch beer.

Love wild ales and never see them in cans. Random find in my local store. Pours a straw color, slight haze. Slight barnyard funk going on in the nose. Great tart, funk taste. Great wild ale at a great price.

3d Review. My first of brewer in Accord (near NewPaltz) mid-Hudson NY.
a) hazy bright pale yellow, typial farmhouse fizzy, thin, ringlet head.
s) lemony, funky, fertile, grain, fresh. Outdoors, earth.
t) akin to a wit or a saison, bright, but something more along the lines of grass and under porch funk, mossy.
f) Summer porch free and refreshing perfection.
o) Perhaps it's imagined but tastes and feels so fresh and original.

Tall can with some nonsensical numbers printed on the bottom.
Pours near clear, typical lighter, near golden amber, a few minimal and quickly departing bubbles, but no film, collar or lacing to be seen.
Slight whiff of hard candy on the sniff.
About medium tart, with bright lemony notes...super dry finish...Im not getting any of the elusive bit of "funk" that the writing on the can promises.
Decent wild/sour offering. If ya like the style, as I do, this is worth a try...would be nice with peppery salads, spicy foods and funky cheese...nice summery beer with BBQ perhaps.

A: Pours a hazy bright pale yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate lemon yellow + bright yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall fizzy foamy white head that quickly reduces to a small to medium sized patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Just shy of moderate aromas of lemon citrus lacto with a light amount of funkiness over the top of very light aromas of wheat + pale malts with minimal amounts of sweetness.
T: Upfront there are very light flavors of wheat + pale malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of lemon citrus lacto with a light amount of funkiness. There is a light amount of tartness/sourness that lingers through the finish.
M: Light bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint of acidic prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a nice tart crisp refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable and would be perfect when sitting outside on a hot summer afternoon. Love the light funkiness.
