16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.80. Canned on 04/14/23, so this is almost three months old.
Look: It's somewhat hazy but basically translucent instead of opaque. The color is light orangish / yellowish. There is a thin, wispy off-white head. After swirling and pouring the bottom of the can, the appearance completely changed to one of like a butternut squash soup with a very fluffy finger of rocky, off-white head. Lots of hop proteins at the bottom of the glass.
Smell: Lots of citrus coming through - orange zest, some grapefruit. Secondary pineapple aroma. There's also some grassy and herbal notes coming through. Green bell pepper notes on the finish after swirling the glass. Chalky, especially after pouring the hop proteins.
Taste: Pretty tasty, good drinkability. I like that this is a NEIPA that has a strong bitter backbone and it has an overall profile of balance. Lots of grapefruit flavor on the palate, has like a grapefruit soda kind of vibe to it. The finish has a strong, woody, pithy and somewhat piney lingering flavor. It reminds me a lot of chinook, which is not commonly used in NEIPAs.
Feel: Initially, after just pouring the first half of the can, It has much more of an American IPA kind of mouthfeel than that of a NEIPA. The mouthfeel improved after pouring the rest of the haze. There's a chewy mouthfeel on the finish with the bitter hop resins lingering.
Overall: It's a pretty good NEIPA. Nothing earthshattering, and probably is much more enjoyable when consumed fresher. Nice to have these "farm breweries" growing their own hops and brewing their own beer, it's a very cool concept.

Picked this up recently at Joe Canal's in Woodbridge, having never had anything from Arrowood before. This felt as much a Farmhouse Ale as it did an IPA as it held up well for it's age, and was quite funky and rustic in nature. This also was quite complex once it warmed up, which made it different than a typical New England IPA.
Of course, this was golden and somewhat hazy in hue as it was topped off by a massive head of thick foam that evenly settled down. A few bits of dark sediment floated in the liquid although it was excessive, as the lacing left behind was just in the form of a thin ring and a few spots. Lots of wine and flowers with some wood underneath that, in the understated nose as the taste also had a bit of vanilla, elderflower, and honey thickness as this had a nice consistency to it without feeling weighted down. Plenty of suds were also on the palate as the carbonation kept this lively while allowing it to shine as I worked my way through it.
The amount of alcohol was right and the can art was fitting for what was inside of it. Dated 10/21 of last year, this wasn't new but was still enjoyable as I'd easily reach for it again. The Bitter Gold stood out a bit above the other hops but this was still balanced and a great first impression of Arrowood. It's enough to check out if and when I ever get to visit breweries in New York north of here!

A: The beer is slightly hazy pale yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation along with lots of fine particulates visible in suspension. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy, floral and grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the citrus is more pronounced and showcases flavors of tangerine zest. In addition to the flavors, the hops also impart a moderate amount of bitterness to the taste.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and very crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA isn't that heavy on the palate and can be considered sessionable as it seems to compare to a hoppy IPA.

Tall can, has some info stamped on the bottom, buts its smudged and useless. Purchased at the Outpost location in New Paltz.
Nice looking hazed/juiced NEIPA style pour, lasting fine bubble cap and leaving a load of fine splattered sheeting and strands of lace. Quality look.
Pleasing sniff infused with honey, straw and flowers.
Medium bodied and lease from the first sip. More honey them melon, vanilla, a ripe pineapple and stone fruits all come to mind. Mighty tasty, with a hint of drying hops in the finish...this brew is in the same league with offerings from the heavy hitters of the style....well worth a try....gonna seek out other beers from this exciting and new (to me at least) brewery.

16oz can from Half Time. Lightly hazy brew, wispy white head. Fruity aroma, lemony notes. Light sweetness, citrus peel, dry. Very light on the palate.

Very nice can artwork - Hudson Valley wildflowers between the "Gunks and the Catskills.
A beautiful 2 inch head erupted above a murky, gray-amber beer. A tight bright white cap of foam hangs in with tiny specks of lace all around.
Tangerine aromas from the citra and woodsy pine from the centennial and some floral notes that might be the simcoe. Hops dominate the nose but is complimented by a soft malt sweetness.
Super light on the tongue, the first sip weak in flavor compared to the aroma so I let it sit for a few minutes to come up to temp. (whistles..)
6 mins later... Head kicks up with a swirl the smell has morphed a bit - a little more herbal, less citrus with a stronger mashed grain note.
Second sip - sharp and astringent. Swirls some more..... lots of carbonation hiding in that hazy murk.
As I drink it in bigger swallows the boil hops rule the show. Some malt steps up as it warms to give it more body and a hint of honey sweetness but still on the light side of medium bodied.
The finish is slightly acidic but with a good, resinous hop bite.
Overall a decent "light" IPA that is kind of one dimensional but still cool using all NY grown grains.
