This is a beauty--from the bright gold crisp, clear look to the deep flavor that finishes loooong. There is a lemony background but Starling brings the funk--an earthy taste that's robust but not off-puttingly so. The Sterling dry hop deepens flavor and provides a welcome bite. That earthy flavor stays with you long after your sip. It's a solid farmhouse ale that doesn't quit.

Touts itself as brett farmhouse ale. Light turbidity, actually good clarity from top. Liquid gold sunshine in a glass. The Brett may be fighting the better characteristics of a saison...big head but no lace. Aroma is light and has a sterile vibe to it. Lemon cleaner, gauze tape mixed with spicy birch bark. Med body, a bit chewy with medium carb.
Lemon verbena, berries and buttermilk, maple butter. Mildly sweet, very drinkable. More of a wild ale than farmhouse in the overall equation.

Audible “pop” when opening the 500ml bottle which then gushed for a couple minutes. Poured into a stemless wine glass with champagne-like head which quickly dissipated into a ring. Appearance is hazy (think NEIPA) - label states it pours clear gold. Not much aroma to speak of - slight funk. Taste is decent - slightly sweet malt with upfront tartness. Lemons. Very effervescent! Mouthfeel is a little chewier than I would expect from the style. Overall good - would like to try on tap.
