Decanted from a 16.9 oz (500 ml) bottle into a Tree House tulip/snifter; 2019 release.
A: Pours a crystal clear, golden color with a hint of orange, solid, but brief effervescence, leaving no rim or lacing.
S: Tart side of tangy. Inviting with aromas of barley, giving way to chardonnay, green apple, honey, and lemon.
T: Tart and dry. Flavors are largely chardonnay, green apple, and lemon. Barely make out to honey note and not at all sweet. Bitterness in the background.
M: Medium bodied with brief effervescence: fairly still throughout.
O: I have been sitting on this for a little while. This brew is amazing: it is the first beer I have have that I could easier have believed was a (fine) white wine. I am kicking myself for not picking up a case.
