440ml (boo) can, a Spanish gypsy (it just soooo fits) brewer teaming up with a Russian contract brewer. Brave new world, and all that. A 'double Tonka toffee vanilla hazelnut dessert stout'. Oh yeah.
This beer pours a solid black abyss, with the barest of amber basal edges when put to the light, and one hipster skinny finger of tightly foamy, creamy, and mildly bubbly brown head, which leaves but a few specks of mitochondria lace around the glass as it quickly bleeds off.
It smells of lightly roasted, bready and doughy caramel malt, toffee pudding, an indistinct oily nuttiness, those little vanilla cookies, medium-dark cocoa powder, and some very tame earthy, musty, and gently lit-up floral hop bitterness. The taste is grainy and cake-forward caramel malt, pulled taffy, melted vanilla ice cream, still hard to differentiate bar-top nuts, dollar store chocolate syrup, and more well-understated leafy, musky, and perfumed floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is pretty sedate in its palate-disappointing frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, with a tiny airy creaminess sort of jousting with some burgeoning alcohol ingress as things warm. It finishes on the sweet side, the adult confectionery essence preserved.
Overall - while this comes across as essentially ticking all the boxes in the product description, there seems to be a sense of disjointedness, which doesn't let it all truly mesh. At any rate, the 20-proof booze is well-integrated, making for a pleasant sipper as the lows (in mid-March, FFS) dip into the minus 20s.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Viendo Dark 2x05-06. Con queso Pok. Birra rica y compleja, con muchos sabores mezclados que se complementan muy bien y le dan un gran equilibrio. Sensacion muy suave en boca
