The Chuck has a very thick, spongy, crackling, off-white head, an opaque, orange-gold appearance, with lots of yeast chunks, following the "swish & pour", and a very small amount of glass lacing. Aroma is of sharp, intense straight barley gruel, and the flavor is the same, with challenging grain sweetness, and minimal bitterness. Mouthfeel is heavy, and The Chuck finishes medium dry.

This was a nice brew that was mellow and creamy. Not great or anything special, but not bad at all. About what you would expect from a typical cream ale.
