This IPA beer is similar to Crying Eagle’s other Hop-Blooded IPA. Yet, it is somewhat less citrus flavored and has a cleaner finish. It pours hazy but don’t let that fool you. It is easy to drink and is probably the best IPA produced in Southeast Texas/Southwest Louisiana.

Pours a very cloudy opaque orange-yellow color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Somewhat juicy aroma with citrus. Grapefruit and lemon on the taste with some bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

12 oz can from 504 Beer Emporium in NOLA
1/9/20
Dark orange-reddish color with a creamy thin ring of head.
Aroma of cloudy yeast and some juicy grapefruit and lemonade. Tangerine, ruby red grapefruit.
Flavor is really juicy and bitter. Ruby red grapefruit, lemon peel and pith, tangerine, and slight 7up.
Feel is juicy and acidic, with lots of carbonation and pleasant mild alcohol heat, also pleasant resins building on the finish.
Overall, much better than I anticipated. Very enjoyable. Would buy a shit ton of this again.
