Had on tap at the Destin McGuire's in May 2024.
Beautiful dark gold or light copper color and perfectly clear. Rocky, off-white head that lasts as a sheet of bubbles and lots of lacing. Aroma is perfect for the style, with light, bready malt, gentle fruit from the fermentation character, and floral English hops. The flavors are simple but good for the style; nutty, grainy malt, herbal and floral hops, a touch of yeast. Light body with just a hint of sweetness in the finish. Low to moderate carbonation. Mild hops bitterness and no real alcohol bite. This is a very well-executed example of the style, which is rare for US breweries. If I close my eyes while sipping it, I can almost imagine myself in a London pub.
