Dark brown color. Medium-sized, off-white head. Bread, roasted malt, and caramel inthe aroma. Moderate sweetness in taste with light roasted bitterness in the end. Good dunkel.

From a swing-top bottle, this brew is a mahogany colored, clear dark color. The smell is intense with malt, bread crust, and a little caramel. Not much bitterness or hops, just enough for balance. Full in body, creamy, and clean. Very good.

Bottle. Poured a semi-opaque, brown color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a subtle grassy bitterness.

A: [4.00] Beer is a rich red/brown color. It forms over 1 finger of off white head. The head is really creamy looking. The bottle lists the ABV (5.2%). I can't find any dating info.
S: [3.75] Brown sugar, brown bread, caramel.
T: [3.25] Follows the nose. With additional toffee flavors on top of the caramel and brown bread flavors.
M: [2.25] Very watery initially. It improved after I got through the head but it is still really thin and lacks body.
O: [3.00] This is just a fair beer. The lack of body is the biggest flaw but there are others. The flavors is a little monochromatic and flat. It is possible this sat on a shelf for a long time (no dates) but no dates can mean old beer and bad reviews. I would not drink this again.

Light brown color with off-white head. Aroma has dark bread notes and a touch of alcohol. Taste starts sweet and bready and keeps fading towards the finish leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste. Body is medium and has a good amount of carbonation. Overall it's a well made dunkel lager.
