Fürst Wallerstein Brauhaus "Hefe-Weizen"
,5L brown glass swing-top bottle
Notes: Surprisingly clear. At first I thought it might be a kristal weisse but it is slightly hazy. Medium gold in color. Typical massive frothy bright white head. Very good head retention and lacing. The aroma expresses cloves with just a touch of banana. The flavor delivers sweetish wheaty malt with some clove and a touch of banana as found in the aroma. A subtle yeast tartness suggests citrus, and in combination with a moderate bitterness it finishes dry with some very mild, passing hops (spicy/grassy). Medium bodied and crips with an effervescent carbonation. Remarkably easy to drink.
