Crystal clear brassy straw; creamy white layer of head persists, even some moderate initial lacing in a plastic cup.
Nose is lightly doughy; floral, pear, and lightly grassy.
Taste is ritz cracker like; stem like greens, hints of fruit, ripe pear mostly.
Light body; good little light bitterness, vibrant crispy carbonation, clean finish, mostly dry, despite lower bitterness the hops linger nicely and lightly.

Very light, refreshing beer. Slightly citrusy with no discernable after taste.

On tap in Greenville SC in a Gouden Carolus glass.
Clear golden body with a weak, bubbly white head.
Aroma: strong for style. Fruit notes and baked bread.
Flavor: as the aroma suggests, this is bold for style, apparently due to a generous malt load. Typical mild bitterness for style.
Feel: the body is light+; medium-light carbonation.
Overall: flavorful and refreshing kolsch.
