On-tap at Fat Patties, Bluffton, SC
A: The beer is hazy brownish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down and left a thick collar around the edge of the glass and a large patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of raisins are present in the nose along with hints of malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger favors of raisins and hints of spices in the finish. There are slight amounts of bitterness and sweetness.
M: It feels medium- to full- bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. Hints of alcohol warning are present in the finish.
O: This quad is a lot spicier and not as sweet compared to other beers in the style. It hides its alcohol very well.
Serving type: on-tap
