On tap at Swig & Swine in Charleston. Lots of toffee. This is a sweet beer, even for this category. But JB, whio doesn't like craft beer, thought it was tasty.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a reddish-amber color and a hazy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A decent, but not outstanding, aroma of hops, malt, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of hops (not a massive presence), a ton of malt (almost overwhelming), a bit of caramel, and some toffee in the finish. The flavor seems a little on the unfocused side. The malt always seems to threaten to take over the taste. There are some nice caramel and toffee notes, but not quite enough.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer for the most part. It has some good qualities, but could've been better.
