Murky amber body with a thin ring of foam, no lace or lasting coverage. Aroma was sweet and malty with a sharp alcohol note, hard to discern if it was bourbon. Very harsh and boozy taste, sticky caramel malt steamrolled by straight up alcohol. Thin, harsh, and astringent. They really need to figure out barrel aging and blending before releasing these again. Had a couple sips and dumped it.
