Escorpión is a well-traveled Luchador. Showcasing prickly pear from the northern dessert of Mexico and Dragon Fruit from the southern tropical region. Crimson in color, aged in Cabernet red wine, and Barbados rum barrels. A fighter with plenty of sting but blooming with sweet fruit flavors.

500 ml bottle into a snifter. 2021 release, had 2/5/22.
Pours an orange copper color, fairly clear, with a quarter inch foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of prickly pear, some dragon fruit, wine, malt, some rum. Flavors of prickly pear, dragon fruit, wine, malt, light rum, caramel as it warms. Tastes slightly earthy and a little sweet. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.
This certainly has a unique flavor profile. The prickly pear stands out, as do the wine barrels. Very enjoyable.

Dark ruby brown pour with a tan bubble head with little retention. Huge dragon fruit and prickly pear back by red wine with accenting red currant and molasses in the nose, almost punch like. Taste has the same set up by vinous notes are stronger, some musty red grape and flowers sneak in as it warms, oak is dark and gentle, the adjunct fruits are playfully tart and full the hole sip long. Feel is boozy, smooth, medium bodied with a fruity tart kiss on the end. Fun and unique, but don't need to have again. The wife loved it.
