Our million-dollar fighter! Maravilla is draped in extravagance, luxury, and abundance. An imperial blonde aged in a blend of Barbados Rum + Rye Whiskey barrels with the star-studded addition of Mexican, Papa New Guinea, Tahitian, and Madagascar vanilla. 500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2021 release, had 1/1/22.
Pours a lighter orange amber, mostly clear, with no head and some specks of cling. Aromas of vanilla, malt, caramel, rye whiskey, some rum, some oak, a hint of apple. Has a bit of a spicy aroma. Flavors of vanilla, rye whiskey, caramel, some rum, some oak. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Good stuff. The vanilla is prominent and excellent, and the barrels are tamed, but impactful with the rye barrels showing a little more. The lighter body stands up well to the double spirit barrage.

2021 vintage; had on draft 11/28/22 @ the Hopleaf.
Opaque dull red/orange appearance.
Minimal off-white head; no lace.
Cream soda, vanilla & faint rum notes in the nose.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Cream soda, rich vanilla, rum & mild oak flavors.
This totally worked for me; it tastes like artisan cream soda with some extra heft and flavor. Reminds me of visits to Grandma's back in the day...
