Señor Finito, the knockout! A rookie in this series, and the little brother of the legendary Señor Bandito and Señor Incognito. This imperial stout was aged in Sagamore rye whiskey barrels with cacao nibs, crushed mesquite beans, and spicy canella, resulting in a nostalgic combination of old fashion fudge, brownie batter, and warm Mexican hot chocolate. He brings the heat and always finishes the job.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 10?/24/22, had 7/8/23.
Pours near black and opaque, with a short, quickly dissipating head and no lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, some nutmeg and oak, light rye whiskey, light coffee. Has a spicy aroma. Flavors of cinnamon, chocolate, rye whiskey, malt, oak, some coffee, light vanilla and nutmeg. Has a spicy taste. Smooth, a very good fuller body, appropriately carbonated.
Certainly interesting. The cinnamon is the star, the barrels are complimentary, and the mesquite bean does have an impact. Another unique and solid effort from CB.

Had on tap. Brown speckling on a lighter black body, light brown head. Smell has great interaction with the canella and mesquite bean, which I learned thanks to this beer is nothing with mesquite wood! Together creating a horchata like spicing to a chocolate and whiskey forward stout. This is seen in the taste too, but more melded all together as one, invoking horchata and mexican hot chocolate moments, while still capturing the depth of the whiskey barrel and the chocolate malt stout. Feel is well balanced with good barrel character, but also having the spices play with the maltwork, smooth and refined yet has great character. Unique and well done
