330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Hazy dark amber in color, the pour forms up one and a half finger of white frothy head that stands with pretty good retention before collapsing to thin bubble sheet atop. Some lacing appears along the glass-side.
Malt and malt and malt in the aroma, it is quite soft and sweet comprising biscuit, jasmine rice, and honey. Hop reveals with a faint touch of floral, lemon, and citrus.
Malt as well dominates in the taste with notes of sweet biscuit, jasmine rice, and grain then hop nicely follows at the back end to support with notes of lemon and citrus while only leaving just wee amount of clean bitterness at the end.
The body is between light to medium with some crisp and lively carbonation generated quite smooth mouthfeel through the palate, dry and clean finish.
This one could be pretty good if it is EPA not APA but as it listed as APA, there is an obviously absence of hop character that should be more prominent.
