330ml bottle poured into a teku glass.
Opaque black as a showcase with massive fluffy tan head that withstands with very good retention, it just slowly dissipates to a layer of eternal foamy crown along with several sticky lacing patch and spot on the glass-side.
Creamy and milky chocolate, coffee, cocoa, licorice, mint chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, coconut, roasted, some smoke, some nutty, and dark bread, all of these aromas are derived from its good malt quality together with hop as a gentle spice and citrus.
The taste is led by its roasted profile providing the flavors of coffee, dark and creamy chocolate, cocoa, slight astringency, and some bitterness. The sweetness is there also from malt with notes of dark bread, sweet caramel, yet some toasted and smoke. All of the flavors nicely mingle together at the end to create pleasantly tasty finish and aftertaste.
Medium body with some bold touch through the palate, carbonation is medium and proper to carry all the things well inside the rather smooth palate, dry finish.
Pretty good Stout, alcohol is perfectly concealed making it to be big quaffable brew. I don’t feel any trace of alcohol even it is 8% ABV. Good pairing with dark chocolate and even good to treat as a dessert.
