The bartender said this was experimental, and somewhere around 5.2% ABV. And it being almost 100 F outside, I was willing to try it. On to the beer:

It looks almost like an industial lager. Pale, yellow/pale gold color, poor head retention. The aroma brings up hopes with some ripe fruits, some yeast, and dark sugar teasing the nostrils. A spiced Belgian, kind of reminds me of Leffe, but not so damn sweet. Spiced ground clove leads the way. Dark sugar and other assorted sweets and spices keep this beer going down in my glass. Carbonation is strong with explosive bubbles on the palate. Sweet and peppery in the aftertaste.

As far as I'm concerned, it's an experiment worth doing again. Tasty. We could use a few more BPA's here.
