On-tap at Tustin
A: The pour is a cloudy one, with a pale yellow color that has some hints of orange (perhaps appropriately). The head is fluffy and white in color.
S: Living up to the name, there is quite a bit of orange in the aroma. Lots of orange peels, but also an orange juice sort of aroma. The traditional elements of a witbier are lacking a bit, but there is some spice and sweet wheat notes.
T: The orange flavor is primarily orange peel/rind. It provides a mild bitterness to the beer which I find nice. The flavor is initially muted, but allowing the beer to warm up, I find that the spice and banana notes come through fairly well.
M: The body is light to medium with a lively carbonation that enhances the lightness of this beer (I find it to be a good thing in this case).
D: Not necessarily the most amazing flavors, but light and refreshing and fairly easy to drink.
