On-tap at Tustin
A: The beer pours a very dark brown with a thin and fairly short lived tan head.
S: A really strong dark chocolate and cocoa aroma to the beer. Fairly strong roasted malt notes with a little bit of coffee to it as well. Mild toffee and caramel notes provide the sweetness.
T: Like on the nose, a very big chocolate flavor. It's a bit like chocolate liqueur. A mild dark fruit flavor is present along with the intense chocolate qualities. Plenty of roast and a nice toffee sweetness.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Thought this was pretty nice and it has one of the most intense chocolate flavor profiles of any beer I've come across.

Sampled 5/14/2011 at the brewpub.
Pours cola dark brown, clear, effervescent, low retention and lacing.
Aroma is chocolate milk powder (Nesquik), some caramel, and a hint of roast. Mostly chocolatey.
Flavor is very chocolatey, a bit of cardboard/oxidation, toffee, medium bitter, very sweet, and of hint of roast hiding behind the chocolate.
Body is medium/heavy, drinkable, even enjoyable at times.
