On-tap at Tustin
A: The beer pours a clear amber color with a frothy off-white head. Excellent lacing all the way down the glass.
S: There are a lot of piney hops on the nose and a slight herbal quality, too. A decent spiciness from the rye with a nice bready note and some grapefruit peel. Just a light sweetness to it.
T: The flavor is a bit watery, unfortunately. There is a decent hop bitterness to it, and some nice piney and herbal hops. Some citrus hops, mostly grapefruit, toward the back end of it. A little bit of bread and rye malts.
M: Light and watery in terms of body with a medium carbonation.
O: This sounded like it could be a nice, easy to drink summer beer, but it fell quite short.
