On-tap at Tustin Brewing
A really intensely dark color, pretty much black, with a thin layer of tan foam. There is a pleasant sweetness of chocolate up front followed by espresso. Just tons of coffee aroma. Heavy on the roast with just a mild chili note in the background. The flavor is not overly spicy/chili forward to begin with, but there is a lingering chili heat on the back end. Notes of chocolate and vanilla provide sweetness. As expected, rather heavy on the coffee and roasted malts.
