Pours a dark brown color with a small, short lived tan head. Aromas of oak, roasted malt, coffee, and mild vanilla. There’s a nice bit of cocoa powder to it as well. Flavor is a touch heavy on the roast and there is a lot of oak. Oak seems to be fairly heavy char. Some chocolate, mild sweetness of toffee, and quite a bit of coffee.
