On-tap at Tustin
Pours a hazy golden orange with a finger of white head. A very good lactic tartness. Plenty of lemon, some white wine, green melon, and a soft citrus note. Very mild musty funk, some straw, and a bit of grass. The flavor is well balanced. Moderate lactic tartness with some lemon peel, melon, and a light unripe strawberry note. Some hints of oak and vanilla, a touch of white wine, and a little grass. A really nice acidity on the finish, nice and dry, too. Reminds me a lot of Temptation.

First off, it has been a while since I've reviewed a beer, so forgive my rust. I was informed by the bartender that this is a Belgian Blonde that was aged in three different wine barrels over the course of 18 months. Served in a tulip straight from the source.
A - Pours a murky yellow orange, with the slightest amount of pale white head, which quickly dissipated to a thin lining around the edge of the glass. A nice enough looking beer.
S - Huge vanilla, peach/apricot notes. Almost smells like peaches and creme. Very interesting.
T - Follows closely from the nose, with a nice tart bite in the finish. More of the wine barrel imparted flavors come through beyond just the oak/vanilla.
M - Fairly easy drinking, the tartness doesn't have too sharp of a bite to the point where it stings. Fairly nice.
O - Pretty impressed with this one. My first visit here and have enjoyed both offerings so far.
