Bottle. Labelled as a Vanilla Mild. Very dark brown. Thin dense tan head.
Coffee aroma.
Dark chocolate taste. Only a hint of the Vanilla. Slight charred bitterness.
A bit thin but no less for the style.
Taste like a porter but feels like a mild.

From a 330ml bottle.
L: Black. Translucent when held to the light. Large, loose head reduces to clumps of bubbly, beige foam.
S: Vanilla, chocolate, toasted bread.
T: Light bitterness. Slightly drying. Toasted, dark malts. The bland flavour doesn't match the complexity of the grain bill.
F: Light body, lots of fizz.
O: So, so beer. Not a lot going on. The vanilla is evident in the nose but missing elsewhere. Gassy.
