Had on tap. Clear amber body pour with a cream colored head. Sweet munich malts the whole way in smell and taste before a finishing biscuit yeast. Very light body but never thin, smooth and clean. The toffee flavoring is what really stands out overall here.

On draft at Altes Tramdepot. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, tan head of fluffy foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of toasted bread, caramel, toffee and floral notes. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild bitterness.

Quite dark "Märzen" (altough I am not 100% sure this has been brewed in March actually, will ask the owner one day), very tasty (cashew nuts paired with figs in the palate) and rich, a slight note of sourness remains on the tongue ...
This is a nice handcrafted brew which can be enjoyed in a very pleasant "Bierhalle" like location ...

The second beer I tried at the altes tramdepot was not disappointing at all, even if my standards weren't too high in the first place. this is an appropriate Märzen, although a bit bland.

the pour is a bright caramel reddish tone that looks perfectly clean and translucid. a bit of carbonation can be seen coming off, and the head is a bit of a dirty white tone with medium retention- even less than the Helles.

The nose is full of malts and a bit of a synthetic feel- i would not know how to describe it- which I always perceive in this beer style. slight to no hops, really.

The taste combines a nice grainy sweetness from the malts into a considerable yeast+alcohol feel (despite the low abv) that blends well with its medium body, and very average carbonation.
