App: Served in a pilsner glass, it came with a white, fluffy head and a pale golden body.
Smell: Like other maibocks I've had, this had a melon character to it, that hid slightly behind a sweet malty forefront and a combination of intense German hops, which I found to be a bit too strong at first, but got used to afterawhile.
Taste: The hops change character from aroma to taste and compliment and balance the syruppy sweetness of the beer. I found the sweetness to be nice on the taste, but overwhelming on the mouthfeel.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation balanced the sweetness enough to pull this into the 3.0 category for reviewing, but it still seemed somewhat off and unbalanced.
Drinkability: I could have had a few glasses of this because it was new and interesting, but it's not a beer that I will miss, as I will surely never have it again.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
