Picked this up yesterday at Lee's across from Winco in Reno. Backstory: I've had a season pass at Mt. Rose for many years. I've also been massively disappointed with almost every Record Street beer I've ever had.
Pours blonde, cloudy, 3/4" white head. Just an awesome design graphic wise, ain't gonna lie, you get a solid .25 in appearance from me when you nail it like that. Pretty good aromatics here, definitely a belgian yeast, but its not all clove and butthole, just has that little hit of dry perfume to it.
Taste, I mean this is a pretty decent banger, belgian blondes are definitely not my thing, but I can respect this, light bodied yet plenty flavorful, and for the right reasons (some of their stuff has been flavorful, but bad flavors). Carbonation on point. Its mostly the yeast providing the taste, hops and malt are minimal per style guidelines. A floral, phenolic experience that in my book, is easily the best Record Street beer I've ever had.
