Called a stout, the beer poured very black with a thick head that quickly shrunk to about 1/8th of an inch. Small carbonation bubbles were lining the inside of the glass. The lace was like a blanket on the inside of the glass, very thick and creamy. The hops were not noticeably present, as the beer was dominated by the rich malt. However, it was slightly bitter, but what would likely qualify as bittersweet. This flavor comes from the chocolate, which tastes like Hershey's dark chocolate (bittersweet). Lastly, the beer was served way too chilled for a stout, I prefer it to be closer to room temperature.
