On-tap 6/14/2013 at the brewpub Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains lager yeast, citrus, light caramelized malts and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of lager yeast and a hearty malt character. Then some citrus and caramel sweetness comes in. The hops presence is decent for the style but there isn’t much balance. The after-taste is slightly bready.
M: Crisp but not very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is clean.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, very mild kick, decent representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are better alternatives within the style.

Light golden with a small white head of fluffy foam. Aromas are light, but very saazy. Not bad, if a bit one dimensional. The taste is better than the aroma with a nice hoppy bite, and some good biscuity malts in the mix as well. A grassy flavor is in the dry finish as well. Mouthfeel is medium and decent, drinkabiity is nice. Not a bad intro beer for this place.
